A global volunteer organization to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.

Soroptimist International of Brea/La Habra, chartered in 1973, is a friendly, caring club of volunteers with a sense of community, committed to improving the lives of women and girls in our local communities and throughout the world.
Why Only Women and Girls?

Soroptimist means “Best for Women” and that is what we strive to be, and as professional and business women, we feel we are definitely qualified to help women and girls reach their goals and live their dreams.

Although both men and women live in poverty and face discrimination, throughout the world it is women and girls who face additional obstacles and discrimination simply because they are female.

Soroptimist work together to empower and educate women and girls, helping them to achieve their goals and a higher quality of life for themselves and their families.
